Here are some shots made in December 2024 in Morocco.

Imsouane is a small fishing port that has quietly transformed into one of the trendiest surf destinations in North Africa. Home to what is often called Africa’s longest wave, the bay draws surfers from all over the world. For better, and for worse.

When I returned, I couldn’t ignore how over-tourism had begun reshaping the village. What was once a slow, working harbor, boats resting on the sand, fishermen repairing nets at sunrise, now coexists with surf schools, guesthouses, and concrete ambitions rising too fast.

And yet, authenticity still lingers.

In black and white, the noise softens. The image refocuses on what remains:

surfers paddling at dawn, fishermen pulling in their catch, kids running barefoot between boats and boards. Two worlds crossing paths on the same shoreline.

Imsouane stands at a fragile balance point, between preservation and speculation, between rhythm and acceleration.

For now, the wave still rolls.
